FAQs

  • When is and how much for open riding?
    Please check the calendar for times the indoor arena is booked with other events. The outdoor arena is available most days starting at 9am and there is a $10 drop in fee that can be paid at the drop box inside the indoor arena door to the left. A membership is required and you'll need to have a liability waiver on file. The outdoor arena has wash facilities. If you set up barrels you'll need to be sure and put them away and please be courteous to other riders.
  • When is and how much for open breakaway/team roping?
    Open breakaway is currently suspended, but please keep checking back or join this site as a member and we'll notify you when it is back on the schedule!
  • How much does it cost rent out the arena?
    The price for renting the arena, generally, is $75/hour. We also have daily rates based on the event. Contact us for more information.
  • Can I host an event at Cowboy Warrior Ranch?
    Yes! We love working with the community to hold events that everyone can enjoy and participate in. If you are interested in holding an event here at CWR please contact us through our website, on social media, or call us at (208) 681-1059.
  • Which membership is right for me?
    Event: Single- For individuals only interested in participating in planned events such as practices, competitions, privately rented arena events, lessons, training, or guests of boarders wanting to come ride Event: Family- same as above, 2 adults, and up to 3 children in the same household Riding: Single- grants event access, with the addition of open riding privileges. this option replaces previous open riding fees and is limited to 2 horses per day per member Riding: Family- same as above, each family member may bring up to 2 horses/day. Individuals within a family plan are not permitted extra horses based on choosing the family option. ANY individual wanting to ride more than 2 horses in a day during open riding must join as a professional Professional: Grants event access, plus opening riding up to 6 horses per day.
